ADM Group is the lead designer of the new Falcon Field Airpark being developed on the Northwest corner of the airfield which is located near Higley and McKellips Roads in Mesa. The proposed project is the development of a 23-acre area (Parcels 53 and 54 located in the northwest quadrant of the airport), known as the Mesa Hangars/Davcon Aviation project.

 

The development will include:

• Up to 400,000 square feet of aircraft hangar space.

• Approximately 48,000 square feet of office/administration space for the aviation businesses which rent the hangars.

• Approximately 383,000 square feet of aircraft staging ramp.

• Approximately 235,500 square feet of vehicle parking. 

• Initial design concepts show hangars to accommodate corporate jets, fixed-wing aircraft, and helicopter uses.

• These hangars may include office space to support tenant employees.

• It is anticipated that the surface vehicle parking areas will accommodate 522 vehicles.

• Installation of aviation fuel storage tanks and a fuel distribution system.

 

This project requires a full Master Plan and a Federal Aviation Administration Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact (FAA EA FONSI) that ADM Group is coordinating. The airport is owned and operated by the City of Mesa.
