Phoenix Elementary School District No.1 is the oldest established school district in the state. Established in 1913, the 103-year-old district maintained its confidential student records, district historical photos, documents and artifacts in the district office basement, which was housed in the historic Emerson Court School. ADM Group was contracted to restore this historic facility with the cooperation of the State and City Historical Preservation Departments.
