Intermediate/Senior Interior Designer


ADM Group is seeking a qualified Interior Designer for educational, commercial, light industrial and municipal projects, with a passion for all phases of the design process. Potential candidates should have 5 to 8+ years’ experience in similar projects and strong computer aptitude and technical skills including an in-depth knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. As a member of our design team, you will be collaborating with other team members to produce construction documents, detail design elements, specify finishes, create renderings, etc.

Our clients mandate very short timeframes for production; therefore, candidates must be able to succeed in a fast-paced office environment and manage details for multiple projects simultaneously. This position has overall responsibility for the design, quality, and client satisfaction of commercial projects in education, municipal and corporate markets.

Qualifications

Degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program is preferred

5 to 8+ years of relevant experience in design, with a focus on commercial interiors projects

High level of proficiency in Revit required

High level of proficiency in AutoCAD required

Proficient in PhotoShop, SketchUp, Enscape or Lumion preferred

Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas

Strong communication skills

Ability to work in a collaborative environment

LEED Accreditation and NCIDQ certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Participate on projects that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts.

Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), color palettes, millwork and lighting.

Generate construction drawings and specifications needed for construction.

Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.

Commercial Architectural BIM/CAD Drafter/Job Captain


ADM Group is seeking a qualified BIM/CAD drafter/Job Captain with a passion for and thorough understanding of the design/drafting process to contribute to the preparation of documents, for all phases of the design process, for educational, commercial, light industrial and municipal projects.

Potential candidates should have 7 - 10 years’ experience in architectural drafting and strong computeraptitude and technical skills including an in-depth knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. Previous project work experience in design through construction is desirable.

Qualifications

High level of proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD

Knowledge of Adobe Suite, MS Office (including PowerPoint)

Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures

Sketchup and Lumions 3D is preferred

Degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members providing technical documentation on a variety of project types.

Produce and review drawings and documents as required.

Provide support to the project and related disciplines throughout all phases of a project.

Receptionist/Bookkeeper Assistant


This role will cover the front desk as well as support to the bookkeeper, administration and design team.

The person in this position must be able to handle multiple priorities and work professionally with all members of the team.

Qualifications

Hands on QuickBooks experience, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel skills

Excellent attention to detail, high level of accuracy, strong analytical and organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Experience with AIA Contract Documents a plus

Key Responsibilities

Answering phones

Greeting clients, vendors etc.

Setting up for meetings and calendaring

Maintaining vehicles including car washes

Maintaining and filling supplies for employee lounge and conference-rooms

Assist with A/R and A/P in QuickBooks and Excel

Responsible for maintaining filing and document storage

Provide administrative assistance to design team
