The Madison Center for the Arts

Madison School District

Phoenix, Arizona

To serve all their school sites and support the District’s focus on developing its young artists, Madison School District took its passion for the arts and community to a higher level with a new, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center.

Features:

  • 28,234 Square Feet.

  • A large lobby for pre-function dining with banquet table seating for up to 200 guests.

  • A catering kitchen.

  • A 908 seat theater.

  • A stage with modern rigging, LED lighting, and an AV system to support the various performance types.

  • Abutting to the District Office enabled the District to re-purpose their warehouse space to a 7,487 square foot back-stage support area.

This new facility brings events into the community by providing a rentable venue for outside musicians, theatre and dance companies, etc.

Classic in design, the facility undoubtedly creates a “vision of elegance” that is the backdrop showcasing the District’s Fine Arts programs. In addition to the Performing Arts Center, ADM Group designed a 115,841 square foot Parking Structure with two levels underground and two levels above ground. Due to the tight site many obstacles had to be overcome for this project.
