ADM Group has developed a master plan for Blackwater Community School and building layout for presentation to the Bureau of Indian Education Department for the funding of a new classroom, cafeteria and multi-purpose building. The master plan for this facility also includes moving the administration building into a new addition at the east side of the property and leaving the existing historic administration building for display and meeting rooms.

The new plans include the conceptual design for a two story classroom building complete with cultural education space, a cafeteria building, media center, multi-purpose building and administration. The concept was developed based on planning around a compact site, and relating to the tribal culture. The design team worked with the community to incorporate unique details relating to their history.

The plans call for the project to be completed following a specific phasing system in order to all but eliminate potential risks with constructing the school on an active site. The initial phase required the temporary relocation of the mobile classroom units, reducing the time for moving into a new structure by 12 months. ADM Group strategically planned the sequence of the phasing in order to complete the project.
