The City of Tolleson selected the ADM Group as one of their first Architecture and Engineering firms under the “Greening of Tolleson” initiative to complete the Tolleson Community Center Expansion. The approximately 4,000 square foot addition to Tolleson’s Community Center is utilized for “Adult Day Services”, a facility operated by the Foundation for Senior Living. This center provides care for adults of all ages who need support and assistance during the day. Designed with the physical and emotional health of the staff and end-users in mind, this project has incorporated many sustainable products and concepts, including insulated concrete forms, low VOC materials, daylighting and optimal energy performance. This project is registered with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and is seeking a LEED® Version 2.1 Silver Certification.
